The building was constructed using modular technology in one day. The 12 modules prepared in advance at the factory were arranged in four storeys by means of a crane, creating the entire structure. In the following days, balconies, a terrace and an elevation were installed. The building has three different types of external walls, three types of roofs and three types of floors on the ground. It is equipped with a heat pump, heating mats and photovoltaic panels as well as heat recuperation from ventilation. Temperature and humidity sensors are placed in all external partitions to check the hydrothermal behaviour of the walls under real environmental conditions.

Unibep SA is a company from Bielsk Podlaski. One of its operating segments is the production of multi-family modular buildings in wooden technology. In the Modular House Factory in Bielsk Podlaski these modules are created, from which modern housing estates are built, mainly in Norway and Sweden.
